Sarah T. Rosier
Owner & Lead

In 2020 while the world shut down, Sarah changed her vision of owning a freelance floral design company and gardening blog into a company with a goal of specializing in wedding coordination and planning in Frederick County.  Focusing on vendor-to-vendor relationships, communication with all couples and vendors, and providing resources to clients, Sleeping Bee Designs has evolved into an award-winning and Frederick-focused event company for couples of all ages and demographics.  Because of that, Sarah quit her full time job in April 2022 and it's been a dream come true ever since.

Aside from her love for all-things-events-and-weddings, she's a cat mom, dog mom (to the best dog ever, truly), goofy type-A (yes, they exist).  She loves everything coffee, purple, and edgy.  You’ll probably see her somewhere in downtown Frederick at least twice a week with her husband, Owen.

Favorite wedding moment: The first dance, mother/son dance, and father/daughter dance

Favorite wedding song: "Every time we touch," by Cascada

The Amazing Team

Sleeping Bee Designs has a team of Leads, Assistant Coordinators, and behind-the-scenes contractors that provide you with dedicated, heartfelt support on your special day.  Each member communicates with Sarah prior to your celebration and is involved in preparation, execution, and clean up of your event.  Leads and Assistants for events are chosen based upon availability, experience with your venue and vendors, and if Sarah think's they'll be a great fit for you!  We don't want to be strangers to you, your guests, and important party members.

Christine

Christine has 6+ years in the event coordination business and has been assisting Sarah for a little over a year. She loves the creativity and unique aspects that every couple brings to their wedding day. The day should absolutely show how your love has grown and be uniquely yours!

Favorite wedding moment: Maid of Honor and Best Man toasts.  They give everyone a glimpse into your closest relationships outside of your partner and lets everyone have a good laugh (or cry) to kick off the reception festivities.

Favorite wedding song: "Please Keep Loving Me," by James TW

Emily

Emily has 5+ years in the wedding event industry. Besides leading her own wedding teams day-of, she has experience in wedding design (one of her favorite things to do). She loves working with clients to create atmosphere and aesthetic they want through design, color, and music.  Currently, she works full-time for a state-wide pediatric mental health access program. She loves to go thrifting, antiquing, going downtown to breweries, and is an avid reader.

Favorite wedding moment: The first time being announced as married!

Favorite wedding song: A tough one, but "Home by The Magnetic Zeros is on that list.

We had a unique and clear vision for how our day would go that mixed elements from different cultures and Sarah really helped us shape our ideas into an amazing experience. Seriously -- she helped lead a Baraat!! It was incredible!

She helped me plan an after party, pull everything together from decor to rehearsal dinner and everything in between. She is incredibly communicative and is such a joy to work with. Our day would not be the same without her.
